Opening Up a New World

With a growing student population and new demands to provide flexible learning options, Henry County Schools needed a more effective way to engage students who want the freedom to learn their own way. Watch Opening Up a New World to see how educators created a personalized learning experience that gives students ownership of their education and inspires them to improve both personally and academically.

We partner with educators to help students succeed.

At Edgenuity, we work with schools and districts to create online and blended learning programs that help students achieve more. Our learning solutions combine media-rich, standards-aligned content, direct-instruction videos that feature expert, on-screen teachers, and meaningful course work to ensure students are engaged and motivated. With actionable data that is easy to access, educators monitor student progress in real time and help students in the moment. By working together, we can drive student success, empower every educator to deliver more effective instruction, and enable your school or district to meet its academic goals.

With Edgenuity, students are outperforming their peers on state tests, and schools and districts are reversing dropout rates and increasing graduation rates. Find out how you can use Edgenuity to meet your academic goals.

Outperforming their peers

At Bedford County Public Schools in Virginia, students studied Earth Science, Geometry, and World History through Edgenuity and outperformed their district and state peers on the 2012 Virginia EOC assessments in these subjects.

Decreasing dropout rates

In the Higley Unified School District in Arizona, a group of students consistently fell behind, lost credits, and dropped out of school. To reverse this trend, the district created the Higley Learning Center (HLC) using Edgenuity curriculum. Of the forty-eight HLC students at risk for dropping out in 2012, only one student did so.

Demonstrating higher pass rates

Rio Rancho Cyber Academy in New Mexico started using Edgenuity to offer a blended learning program where students could engage in online learning from home and school. Data from the Spring 2012 New Mexico Standards Based Assessment revealed that students demonstrated higher pass rates on the Mathematics and Reading Tests than their peers.
